Mixed-Bed Multi-Layer Deionization Cartridge
SpectraPure® SilicaBuster™ Mixed-Bed Multi-Layer
Deionization Cartridges are fabricated with semi-conductor
grade resins for highest possible purity water. They are
capable of producing 18 megohm-cm resistivity water. They
are the first deionization cartridges designed to reduce
silica, nitrates and phosphate levels in the low ppb range.
These newly formulated cartridges far exceed the performance
of previous cartridges, offering enhanced contaminant removal,
longer life and higher purity.

SpectraPure®
Carbon Block Filters
SpectraPure® Carbon Block Filters remove chlorine, organic
chemicals and chemicals that contribute to taste and odor.
These filters act as near absolute-rated sediment filters.
They are much more efficient than the granulated carbon
filters because there is no channeling or bypassing of fluids.
They also have a higher adsorptive efficiency and higher
turbidity reduction than granular filters.

MicroTec™ Sediment Filters
SpectraPure® MicroTec™ Sediment Filters are high
efficiency depth gradient density filter cartridges with almost
absolute micron ratings. They are strongly recommended for
areas with extremely high sediment levels like NY, WA, ND,
NC and IL etc. The gradient pore structure of these cartridges
captures larger particles in the outer sections of the filter
cartridge, while providing highly efficient and consistent
removal of smaller particles in the core.

With older filter technology, sediment filters were incapable of blocking all fine sediments that could foul the down-stream carbon block filter. A fouled carbon block filter cannot trap chlorine, VOC's, solvents, humic, fulvic acids and other contaminants that cause odor and reduce expensive RO membrane life span and performance. The Zeta Zorb™ stops "pass-through" sediment, which increases the life of the carbon block filter by at least two times.
