Information:
This lamp is ideally suited to be used as a standalone, or when used in a 2:1 or 3:1 fashion with blue or actinic supplementary lamps. A special 60:40 combination of 6000K and 22000K (approx) phosphor blend. It is specifically designed for reef aquariums mimicking sea water to a depth of one to twenty meters. It can be used for growing SPS corals up to 80cm in the aquarium. The tubes can be combined with Aqua Flora for freshwater, tropical fish and planted aquaria. |

Actinic Plus
Features:

• Supplementation Lamp encourages blueing in SPS coral, minor fluorescing.

Recommendations:
Great when used with 10k or 6500k metal halide lamps to encourage bluing in SPS. 450nm peak is similar to Radium Blue metal halide lamps. Other preferred ratios include 1:1 with Sun Lamps, or 2:1:1 Sun/Blue/Actinic for best blend of bluing and fluorescence. Its spectrum is generally as the deep ocean but as the name suggests it also emits high levels of Actinic Light. This is designed to make even the drabbest corals stand out by producing strong fluorescence. |
