IC Gel Cyanoacrylate Super Glue
IC Gel is a gel or toothpaste consistency Cyanoacrylate that works great for bonding
smaller SPS and LPS frags and corals to rocks, flower picks,
and other solid objects. Can be used to bond both out and in the water and is safe for uses in your aquarium.
IC-GEL™ is a cyanoacrylate paste that is extremely thick which comes in an applicator tube like toothpaste. It has the same bonding and curing time characteristics as MAXI-CURE™; IC-Gel™, however, can be applied to a vertical surface and will stay in place. It will not run. IC-GEL™ can be applied at any angle with just a squeeze of the tube. The gel does, however, have a tendency to continue to come out of the tube for about a second after pressure is released, so this must be taken into account to apply the exact amount of IC-GEL™ that you want. |

AquaScape Epoxy
A unique new product from Europe which allows you to glue your live rock and coral fragments into place within your aquarium that cures to the color (mauve) of coralline algae making it blend in almost immediately.
This extremely versatile 2 part underwater epoxy will set
and adhere to wet aquarium rocks, live sps corals, clam
shells and dead coral branches. It will stick to glass, plastic, rock, metal, rubber pond liners and can be sculptured and
set in the same form in which it is molded.
When used properly it is totally inert and can be used
safely in conjunction with corals or fish within the aquarium.
Also available in slate gray for marine or freshwater

Boston Aqua Farms coral Frag Plugs are specially designed to take advantage of all the best qualities of other plugs and coral frag mounting solutions to date.
Pictured at the left, this plug resembles a small one legged table.
The peg in the bottom is designed to fit nicely into eggcrate, it will also fit nicely into a small crevice or hole in your live rock. (Some drill 1/2" holes throughout their new live rock, to provide future resting places for our frag plugs.)
The top is about 1" in diameter and sports a layer of bright white sand that helps corals and coralline algae to adhere more quickly, it also looks more natural then aragocrete.
Boston Aqua Farms coral Frag Plugs are designed to support Acropora, Montipora Digitata and other thin branchy species of coral. |
